Anyone can place ads, scaling profitably
not.

The rules of the game have become tougher: Data protection, consent, and tracking gaps make attribution difficult, while budgets and competition are increasing. Platforms need clean signals to optimize efficiently. Profitable scaling today is only possible with web tracking, clear conversions, strong creatives and landing pages that actually convert.

The tracking blackout

You're running ads, but you don't really know what really works. When events, conversions, and attribution aren't right, you're optimizing at the wrong lever and paying for “activity” instead of results.

Increasing click prices

CPM and CPC are not getting cheaper. Without creative iteration, clear target group logic, and ongoing testing, efficiency decreases even though the budget increases. Performance needs a system, not hope.

Leads without quality

Requests come in, but Sales says “doesn't fit” or nothing comes of it. The cause is almost always a messaging mismatch or a weak funnel: false promise, no pre-qualification, landing page with no conversion focus.

The most common questions

How quickly can you see results and when does scaling make sense?

The first signals and optimizations can often be seen within a few days/weeks, but real stability only occurs when enough data has been collected over several test cycles. We therefore work in phases: Setup → Test → Optimize → Scale. The faster feedback and decision-making processes are, the faster the whole thing becomes profitable.

How do I recognize black sheep among performance marketing agencies?

You can tell black sheep by the fact that they sell you security without verifying the basis: They promise fixed results (“X leads for Y €”) before they understand the offer, margin, sales process and tracking. They talk a lot about clicks, reach, and “optimization,” but little about the KPIs that really matter (CPL/CAC/ROAS) and they can't clearly explain to you how conversions are measured and figures checked.

Other warning signs: no clear test plan, no creative iteration (always the same ads), unclear ownership (who has access to accounts/assets), “black box” reporting, long contract commitment without exit, and excuses instead of root cause analysis when performance is not right. Reputable agencies work transparently: Setup first, then testing, then scaling and quality are made measurable, not claimed.

How do you ensure clean tracking and attribution despite consent & data protection?

Without clean signals, platforms optimize blindly and you make decisions based on incorrect numbers. We therefore set a clear tracking foundation: clean events and conversions, consistent definitions, quality checks (number reconciliation) and, if necessary, server-side approaches to reduce data losses. The goal is not “more tracking,” but reliable attribution so that optimization and scaling are based on real results.

For which target groups and business models does performance marketing really make sense?

Performance marketing is strong when you have a clearly definable offer and can measure a result (lead, purchase, appointment, demo). It works particularly well for ecommerce, Leadgen (e.g. B2B inquiries, consulting, real estate, recruiting) and Services with a clear margin.

It makes less sense if your offer requires a lot of explanation, the margin is too low, or if you don't have the capacity internally to process leads quickly, then you're just buying yourself traffic and frustration. In practice, we therefore check in advance: Target group, demand, competition, margin, sales process and tracking ability. If this basis is right, performance can be built up and scaled in a predictable way.

What budget does performance marketing need to really work?

That depends less on “marketing budget” than on target, market and margin. It is crucial that there is enough budget to collect valid data in a short period of time: tests for creatives, target groups and landing page variants. We start with a clear test setup, define KPIs (e.g. CPL/CAC/ROAS) and only scale when the figures are stable so that budget does not disappear into wastage.

More than ads: Performance marketing as a system

Performance marketing is not “starting a campaign and hoping.” It is a setup of measurability, creatives and funnel logic that can be controlled. We first build the foundation (tracking + conversions), then we test in a structured way, optimize for the right KPIs and only scale when results are stable, transparent, comprehensible and without a black box

Kick-off & goals: KPI definition instead of gut feeling

At the beginning, we define what “success” really means: ROAS, CPL, CAC, pipeline value, schedule rate or turnover. In addition, we clarify target groups, offers, competition and sales processes, because performance only works if it is processed properly at the back.

Customer web tracking & attribution: creating clean signals

Without clean data, you're optimizing blindly. We set up a tracking foundation: clear event and conversion definitions, consistent measurement logic, quality checks (reconciliation of figures) and, if necessary, server-side approaches to reduce data losses. The goal is not “more tracking,” but reliable attribution for better decisions.

Funnels & landing pages: so that clicks become customers

Good campaigns often fail on the side behind them. We optimize or build landing pages that take up exactly the promise of the ads, build trust (proof, cases, clear benefits) and lead to a clear action. Mobile-first, fast, without distractions so traffic doesn't fizzle out.

Creatives & content: Performance needs replenishment

Creatives are the biggest lever and the biggest bottleneck. We develop ad and hook variants, systematically test and build a creative pipeline that makes scaling possible. Here, we are also happy to help you produce the right content.

Campaign setup & scaling: structure instead of chaos

We set up campaigns so that you can manage them: clean account structure, clear target group logic, retargeting, budget allocation and test clusters. For us, scaling doesn't just happen through “more budget,” but also through more stable signals, better creatives and better conversion rates.

“We just need better click prices. — Clicks aren't the goal. Profit comes from conversion rate, lead quality and CAC — not from CPC. ”

Optimization & Reporting: Focus on results, not on activity

We are constantly optimizing for KPIs, which do not count on vanity metrics. You get clear reporting that enables decisions: What worked, what didn't, why, and what we test next. If possible, we bring in quality feedback from Sales/CRM so that there are not only “leads”, but also suitable leads.

Saisonalität in Oberösterreich
