For Bergwelten Magazin, which tells new stories about the fascinating world of mountains every day, we were able to accompany a very special tour: the Granit Bier Runde, a three-day mountain bike route through the picturesque Danube region in Mühlviertel, Upper Austria. Our task was to document the highlights of the tour live on the Bergwelten Instagram account, with authentic stories, spontaneous impressions and close-ups of the impressive surroundings. In addition, we created high-quality photo content for the accompanying online article on bergwelten.com. The route itself led through spectacular landscapes, dense forests and winding descents — an ideal backdrop for visual storytelling. With heavy equipment and supported by e-bikes, we covered around 52 kilometers a day and were thus able to experience not only the region but also the passion for biking up close and digitally transport it.
The Granit beer round was not only a sporting challenge for us, but also a creative adventure. A shoot like we've never had before. The assets produced as well as the online article show the combination of nature, movement and cuisine that made this project special for us. We can only recommend the tour to all cycling enthusiasts, it offers a perfect mix of breathtaking scenery, varied trails and a unique atmosphere. So saddle up and start cycling!
